wma Zu Since Drama Club was newly-formed this year, it started off slowly and empty-handed. Miss Brinkman, the sponsor, helped to get the club started. The money from club dues and a bake-sale helped to hnance the club. Their main goal was to have 3 one-act plays which would be performed for the public. ith zfhevir or than iris J Ch cms During the Christmas holidays, KFRE-TV presented the program, t'Five Hours of Christmas in which Kerman's Acappella and Girls' Chorus sang. The Chorus attended a music clinic in Stockton during February. They also attended the music festival at Reedly later in March. The Kerman AFS Club sponsors all of our foreign exchange students. The members are people who are interested in the American Field Service program. These people do much to help make this program successful. They work very hard in sponsor- ing programs and dinners in an effort to raise money. This is used to help bring a student to Kerman or to send one to a foreign country. This year our foreign student was Vilhjalmur Kjartansson from Iceland. He stayed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Knowles with American brothers Pablo and Carlo. Suzie Sebastian spent this past summer in Brazil. Jin Jin Soong from Malaysia visited Kerman during an Exchange Week.
