X x V1cePres1dent Russell Johnson President Neal Shepherd Treasurer Doug Kniffen Secretary Leonard Morson The Boys' Athletic Council is an or- ganization which has been formed for the primary purpose of fostering an in- terest in athletics, physical education. and also of serving Kenwood's teams in any way which it possibly can. It is not essential to be a team member in order to belong to the B.A.C., but one must have the desire to promote athletic com- petence and to give as much 'gfree timei' as possible to help the athletic program. Some of the tasks which come under the supervision of the Council are the organization and operation of the in- tramural program, lining off the fields for inter-scholastic contests, mainte- nance of athletic equipment, and assist- ing coaches and officials in any way they possibly can. Self-satisfaction of a job well done is the most rewarding feelin but there are also more material rewards such as a trip to Hershey for an ice hockey game and a camping trip to Western Maryland Many of the ta lx uhnh are done by Mr Soderberg Sponsor 1 'N l d splay kill and coordination which are requ ea 1 52 1 d red to perform C1 houldef an this roup are not obvious to the or dlnary by stander but Kenwood 1S cer tamly grateful to the BAC on the parallel b81'5 S6 5, U .
