We The rifle of my life is to make business a pleasure, and pleasure my business. Burr The many clubs and activities at Kenwood seem to have made it their rule too. Every day there are meetings of the various or- ganizations which are composed of students who share a common interest. With a wide variety of activities. there is a place for each of us to further our own concerns. Business becomes a pleasure as the myriad of clubs promote school spirit, and give entertainment to the entire student body.

Since its inception in 194-8, the Girls' Ath- ' letic Association has increased its membership i from twelve to a present day two hundred fifty-two. lt has become the largest and one of the most active organizations in the school. The G.A.A. aims to promote interest in sports, to cultivate good sportsmanship, and to increase school loyalty. The highlight of the year for club mem- bers is the G.A.A. camping trip to Camp Airy in Thurmont, Maryland. Only those members who have amassed 150 points by attending and participating in activities are privileged to go. Other activities--the Halloween party, the decorating of Kenwoods Christmas tree, food party, a slumber party, and a square dance-are sponsored by the organization for all members Presentation of GAA pins to the most active sen1ors will be 1n1t1ated by the club this year Kenwood wouldnt have had the holiday spirit without the GAA s Christ mas tree These girls have every right to be proud because they have Just Watching Ruth menacmgly wield a knife wont prevent Toni from received their GAA pins for extensive part1c1pat1on in the clubs gettmg her share of the delicious food served at the GAA CVBDIS food party 5I ' a I 0 an CW , i f ,QQEM57 '
