The varsity hasehall team got off to a goof start luv opening its season with wins over un dalk 13-8 and Towson T-5. Although the next two games brought defeat at the hands of ar ville 6-5 and Sparrows Point T--1. the Bluebird with the help of their high spirits and etei mination. Came through bv winning the next four successive games: Dundalk T-6. Franklin 5-1. Sparrows Point 6-1. and Towson -1 Kenwood chalked up victories against Hereford 3-2 and Milford 5-l. On Catonsville ground the last game of the season hrought fans to a iigl pitch of excitement as extra innings ss ere needed to determine the outcome and here we emerged the victor 5-1.
