DEDICATIO Kensington is dedication-the kind that is displayed by our faculty and administrators. In appreciation for his leadership and service to Kensington, we, the graduating class of 1968, dedicate this COMPASS to Coach Ralph Duquin. During his twenty years at Kensington, Mr. Duquin has coached our track and cross-country teams on to nine Scalp and Blade and three Columbia Cup championships. His encourage- ment has been a constant inspiration to these teams in both victory and defeat. With the help of Mrs. Duquin, annual cook- outs are organized for the teams to reward them for their efforts. This year at Letter Day the Harriers presented their own All- High Coach Awardn to him. He is equally admired in the role of educator. During regular school hours, Mr. Duquin is an instructor of physical education and health. The Duke is the hero of B-lunch, where, with his trusty whistle, he saves us from chaos. Each year in these paragraphs we honor an outstanding ed- ucator at Ken, whose enthusiasm and dedication are contagious. These qualities rub off on his students and on new faculty members, they have served as an incentive to his own daughters, all active Kensingtonians until their graduation. For the victories, for his inspiration, and for his enthusiasm, Kensington High salutes Coach Duquin. 6
