Miss Carroll lDr. Ma- rian Carrolll has capably and competently helped Kensington girls solve numerous personal problems. She and Mr, john Mc- Mahon, our boys' counselor, assist students with vocational choices, post-high school educational plans, selection of courses, and part-time employment. Guidance services also include aptitude testing, interest inventories and determina- tion of reading ability. Our counselors have invited several people to talk to us on careers in different fields during the year. Mr. Abraham Axlerod This year we welcomed as our new assistant principal, Mr. Abraham Axlerod. As science instructor, boys' counselor, and assistant principal at Bennett, Mr. Axlerod gained invaluable experience in supervising young people, which has made him a capable and understanding leader. His fairness and diplomacy reveal him to be a man of out- standing character. His effort this year to become familiarly acquainted with the student body has earned him much admiration and gained him many friends. Mr. Axlerod's versatility is expressed in his wide range of interests, which include reading, chess, and camping. During the summer months, he serves as director of a boys' carnp. At present, Mr. Axlerod is studying for his doctorate at the University of Buffalo. We are confident that his future years at Kensington will be years of satisfaction, good health, and happiness. Office . . . focus of activity The office at Kensington, focal point of school business, capably serves us alll Miss Lehde, Administrative Assistant and coordinator of activities, is admired by all for her com- petence and pleasing manner.
