Mr. john N. Chassin Mr. Axlerod and the faculty join with me in congratulating you upon your graduation. There is an old adage which states that as the twig is bent so grows the tree. Those who have applied their minds and talents to the best of their ability during the four years at Kensington need have no fear for the future. Additional experiences will serve but to fortify what your teachers have done for you here. Be active in your community by attending your church and supporting worthwhile activities. Be loyal to your Alma Mater. lt is only in giving that you really receive. Be a good neighbor, a good friend, a good citizen. The best preparation for the future is the present well seen to, and the last duty done. -C. MacDonald. Your friend and principal, ,Wad 27. O .Q Wie 'W +a,, C 9 ' we . avg Q ,Q I-Q ' na0 ' . , S N . Mr. Abraham Axlerod This year we welcomed as our new assistant principal, Mr. Abraham Axlerod. As science instructor, boys' counselor, and assistant principal at Bennett, Mr. Axlerod gained invaluable experience in supervising young people, which has made him a capable and understanding leader. His fairness and diplomacy reveal him to be a man of out- standing character. His effort this year to become familiarly acquainted with the student body has earned him much admiration and gained him many friends. Mr. Axlerod's versatility is expressed in his wide range of interests, which include reading, chess, and camping. During the summer months, he serves as director of a boys' carnp. At present, Mr. Axlerod is studying for his doctorate at the University of Buffalo. We are confident that his future years at Kensington will be years of satisfaction, good health, and happiness.
