' The only shadow casT on The happiness oT our Tinal year was The passing oT Dr. RiesTer, whose classes were made up largely oT Seniors. A member oT our class, Jane Lavis, wroTe a poem in memory oT her, enTiTled Doc RiesTer, a name by which she was aTTecTionaTely known To us all. Our Class Day program, presenTed in The audi- Torium on The aTTernoon oT June 9Th, included an address by The presidenT oT The Senior Class, William Monks, To which a response was made by The Junior presidenT. l-larry l-lessler. Then 'Followed The prophecy, presenTed by Jane Search, The hisTory, by Mary Rebadow, and various musical numbers. ln The evening occurred The Senior Prom, a delighTTul TuncTion in our school gymnasium. ' ATTer a Tinal successTul Tussle wiTh regenTs examinaTions came our graduaTion on June 27. On This impressive occasion The address oT dedicaTion oT KensingTon High School was deliv- ered by The SuperinTendenT oT Schools, Dr. RoberT T. BapsT. There Tollowed The principal's address by Mr. McDonnell, an address repleTe wiTh helpTul advice. The valedicTory oT The class oT l938 was Then given by EdiTh Taylor. ' While our graduaTion, in a sense, closes The door oT Ken- singTon upon us, iT opens The door oT liTe. Some will conTinue Their educaTion in colleges and universiTies ThroughouT The coun- Try. Among These are VicTor Ciminelli, The Rebadows, Mary, Eugene and Norman: Paul CliTFord, EdiTh Taylor, June l-lazelTon, Marvin Kuhn, Melvin KinmarTin, Jacob l-loechsT, Lucille Di Pirro, Thelma l-loward, Jane Search, Virginia I-loerbelf.
