New attitudes change the pace In September of 1977, the Profile staff distribut- ed a survey to students, asking them to respond on such subjects as quality of teaching, sports, student government, and other related topics. The answers showed that despite a seemingly similar student body, that attitudes were strikingly different. Where one student was disgruntled over prejudice in sports, others were either berating or glorifying teachers. Perhaps these differences in at- titudes were an effect of segregation, but nonethe- less, these varied attitudes seemed firmly en- trenched. , I. Odessa Edwards is frazzled after a rough day. 2.
