Member- ship is based upon a combina- tion of scholarship, leader- ship, service and character. It enables the faculty of the school to give recognition to outstanding students. The purpose of the club is to stimulate and encourage higher standards of excellence. lt helps to create an enthusi- asm and respect for scholar- ship, to promote worthy leadership, to encourage the development of character in all students and to stimulate a desire to render service. Many active programs of school and community service are undertaken to give members an opportunity to mobilize their ideas and provide service in accord With their abilities. fl!!

R K-dettes promote school spirit particularly at athlet- ic events in order to boost and maintain morale, to represent the school, and to serve the school and com munity in every possible Way. This year Pep Club sponsored the Homecoming dance along with the D- Club. At the end of the year the junior pep club mem- bers gave a banquet for graduating senior K-dettes.
