Bree Hummel . , . .Kelly Haustveit Sophisticated Comedy Private Lives is a three act play written by Noel Coward and directed by Miss Jean Robinson The story takes place in Deauville France and involves an American couple who have divorced because of too many rows and have remarried and are on honeymoons with their new spouses But in the same hotel they cant help but meet ind when they do they can t help but runn off together leaving their confused and bewildered spouses to find nothing but a note and each other Amanda Prince and Elyot Chase the original couple lportrayed by Bree Hummel flat in Paris until nature takes its course and their bickering which led to the break up of their first marriage now leads to a rip roaring fight where they both end up on the floor Enter Sybil Chase and Victor Prine lportrayed by Marianne Garberick and Brian Odelll as Amanda and Elyot run into opposite bedrooms The next day they all sit down for a lovely chat when Sybil and Victor end up arguing over whose fault it was as Amanda and Elyot walk out quietly Kelly Haustviet brightens up the play with her French accent as Louise the maid and Larry Ensoel live happily in her

Jack and Charley are madly in love with their charming girlfriends, Kitty and Amy. The girls are leaving and the boys want to propose before they go. They can't get the girls to come over without a chaperone and CharIey's aunt, Donna Lucia D'alvadorez, can't come. So they get Lord Fancourt Babberly, an actor and friend, to impersonate her. No one has seen the aunt before so everyone is fooled, except the real Donna Lucia. who comes after all. She finds someone in her place so she decides to play along. The girls must get their uncle Spettgue's consent for marriage so they can wed without losing all their money, for Spettigue is their legal guardian. They talk the fake Donna Lucia into getting the consent for them. Babberly has to promise marriage to do it so he does. While Spettigue is writing his letter of consent. Babberly finds an old love, Ela Delahay, the young orphan traveling with Donna Lucia. The climax comes when Babberly is once again Babberly and is asked who he is by Spettigue. l'm Donna Lucia D'aIvadorez from Brazil where the nuts come from. Oops! But it's too late. Spettigue is in a rage and the real Donna Luciz steps forth. In the end, everyone is happy and Lord Babberly leaves, to Sir Frances Chesney, All claims to CharIey's Aunt. cl 914
