STUDENT CONGRESS Faculty senate bridges the communication gap Student Congress got off to a good start under President Sandy Smith. The first dances vvhich were extremely successful boosted the treasury. In addition to the regular congress, the Student-Faculty Senate began operating this year. This group, created last june, consisted of representatives from the student body, the faculty, and the administration. The Senate worked in conjunction with the congress and recommended legislation. Bills introduced into the Student Congress ranged vvidely, showing both imagination and innovation.
