DAN CES Open dance highlights Kennedy's fall season There's nothing like a successful open dance to raise a lot of moneyg or a back-to-school dance to promote school spirit. This social year opened with a successful Back-to-School gathering sponsored by the Student Congress. Shortly afterwards the Senior Class sponsored an open dance. Nearly two thousand youngsters from all over the area danced to the rhythm of the Expressions 84 Velours and the Dynamics. What a success! Everyone had a good timeg the Senior Class earned over a thousand dollars. These successful dances paved the way for additional exciting dances throughout the year: Homecomingg the Christmas Ballg and finally the junior-Senior Prom at the Washingtonian Country Club, To the left: Harold Sherman, and Greg Nolen dance with their partners on the outskirts of the crowded open dance. lm- mediately below: Paul Lewis and Michelle Walker dance back- to-back at the Back-To-School Dance.
