Speech Class Offers Entertainment and Educational Skits The speech class does not only listen to the teach- er but each student writes and gives his own speech later in the year the class divides up in groups to learn and perforin a short play for the student body. This helps the student to learn self confidence and good performance. This class was taught by Ellen McAdams.

New Chemistry Lab Gains Students Interest This year at Kennedy science was a most enjoyable class. Chemistry was offered again to the students along with seventh through ninth grade science. The students enjoyed and learned more this year because they had the chemistry lab to work in. Teaching these classes were Terry Dillard and Mildred Truelove.

Modern Math Skills Students for the Future Modem math has become one of the most im- portant subjects taught. This year at Kennedy general math, Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geo- metry were offered to the students. Teaching these courses are Mr. Terry Dillard and Coach Don Thornton.
