Fitness Is Essential for the Future Not only does P.E. provide needed exercise for boys and girls but it also pro- vides many hours of enjoyment. This year's classes were taught by Mrs. Laudice Junkins. Coach Larry Williams, and Coach Don Thornton.

The Home Ec. girls learned many new skills that will aid them in later years as a homemaker. They learned how to sew, cook, manage a budget, and keep things tidy and clean. As a project this year, the Sr. High girls covered the office sofa. These skills and techniques were demonstrated by Mrs. Bernice Bryant.

Business Education At Kennedy High this year both typing and bookkeep- ing are offered. Both are a vital skill in many of today's jobs and this is one of the many reasons they are taught at Kennedy. These courses are taught by Mrs. Jacqueline Hughes, who is teaching at Kennedy for the first time this year.
