Under the decisive leadership of Coach Bear Bob Stevens the grapplers sent two representatives to the state meet in Des Moines. Seniors Russ Winegardner and Bob Springman finished second and third in the state respectively. They were also the co-captains which dem- onstrates the calibre of leadership this team had.
