On the day of the game, the seven candidates were presented in an assembly and asked questions by emcee Eric Ulfers. That night, during halftime ceremonies, Kandi Parsons was an- nounced as the new queen. Steve Ridge escorted her, and last year's queen, Deanna Diaz, crowned her.
