PHYSICAL FITNESS STRESSED I PE M.l. Waldman The Physical Education Department is seeking to provide more individual attention in its instructional program by increasing the staff membership therefore lowering the class size. Sev- eral teachers have been added to the staff to handle the shift in class size. Special emphasis is being placed on the intramural and extramural pro- grams within the required classes. The elective classes are stressing the im- portance of physical fitness. This year the department has changed not only in its instructional aspect but also in the construction of the gym and dressing rooms. New lot kers were installed in the boys dressing room and a new floor was put down in the gym.
