The language labora- tories are used a great deal in the teaching of modern foreign languages in order to develop oral skills. Interest in the spirit of the culture of various countries is stimulated through the use of recordings, slides, films and tapes. Students are aware of the need to communicate with the peoples of other countries in today's shrinking universe.
