W-Wim Norman Fields ln a school with a large student body, an assistant principal's job is vi- tally important. lt helps to ease the strain of the principals work load and enables the school to function in a smoother manner. This year Kempsville has three assis- tant principals. The newest, Mr. Harvey, is in charge of all transpor- tation matters including parking permits and buses. He handles all dis- -Ak-:ll-wciplinary problems dealing with the buses also. Mr. Harvey will assist Mr. Booth, the atheletic director, in co-or- dinating the atheletic activities. Mr. Shields, the assistant principal in charge of discipline works with the students to insure that they will co- operate with the rules and regulations set down by the school. He is always available to those students seeking schedule changes and those who may 'vw-lu-ii , ,L45QN,Qm,be having problems in any particular Akuf eJ,,.4,4' Ns New-fs-we class.
