Sept. Sept. Cot. Nov. Nov. Nov. Dec. Jan. Jan. Jan. Jan. Feb. Feb. March April May June June June A SENIOR LIVES, TOO! School opened-we were dignified Seniors at last. But the same old story, quote, you're the dumbest class I've ever seen. Jean Moore was spotted as the Sweater Girl of the Month. Ah, we just love those sweaters. Jean Hodges and Benny Haste represented the Seniors in Halloween Carnival. 'CVoter Parron and Melvin Nuckols were having trouble with the verb to be. Summer hair cuts arrived a little soon for Muscles Conant and Jimmie Baggett--Could it be they were mistaken for sheep. Ba, Ba. Ah, rest and did we need it. Back to school again and ready for more work. In the far corners of room 1 could be heard a slight mumbling of voices, what were they saying? Why everything, cause The Professor Goes Haywire is the name of the play and tryouts are today. Deadline for term paper. Death for dead heads. English IV Exam-where those sentences came from no one knows, but where they could have gone everyone knows. Begins the new term, and the resolution of working harder. Anne Buzzy represents the Senior Class at the Valentine Dance. The Senior Play was terrific. Tuesday after Monday eorsages. Jr.-Senior Prom held at Oiiicers' Club was an event that will linger with us always. BZlCC3lI1L1I'C2't'fC SCTITIOI1. Well, Hnal exams and now the verdict, is you is or is you ain,t going to graduate' Graduation exercises. i 25 3

' Barbara Richards, Dorlores Lupton, and Lenore Rice bequeath to Eliza- beth Yon their typing ability, which will come in handy if she ever gets to class. Anne Buzzy leaves her eoy look and flirtious ways to Jimmy Da.venport. From Joyce Carrick and Faye Evans, Victor Peek receives the ability to blush. VVe sincerely hope he'll learn to use it someday. Ella. lVIay Rogers wills her vitamin pills to Helen INilkie. lVIuscles and Brawn, the prize possessions of Cherry lXIitchell and Sue Kiracoie, become the property ol' Shelton Nixon, since he is the only one we can find. Leah Ray CSweater-girlj lvlears carries with her everything she's got. I-Iappy Day! No one around here will be burdened with it. Since Audrey Wolfe is always slipping here and slipping there, we decided to just let her name slip from this document. Jack Price would love to donate something to the Jr. Class, but he can't, cause his limited possessions are Null and Void. Jean I-Iodges leaves to Lucille Richardson her ability to make straight A's. Dick Sloan leaves his lastly beating heart, tied with a bright red bow, to Pat Douglas. Jimmy Baggett and Sally. Buzzy will their babyish ways to the entire Jr. Class, hoping that they will use them as an example and grow up sooner. Dora Brice leaves her Little Black Book, the source of her dates, to Winifred Acree, who will most likely make the best of them. June Garrenton ean't leave Billy. He has clung to her so constantly during the past year that they are rapidly becoming Siamese Twins. Peggy I-Iundley leaves her famous mole to Medical Science, which has already been retarded 100 years by observations of other Kernpsvillians. Marlene Meade wills her knack for giving unwanted opinions on all sub- jects to Betty Blankenship. I-Iere's hoping you will have more listeners, Betty. Since Charlotte Baum is losing weight we think it is proper for her to will to Doris Shepherd her complete course on How To Reduce In 98 Easy Lessons. For Doris the number will be increased to 1000. We often speak of dresses fitting, shoes Fitting, etc. To this list we may now add a ear that fits, for Howard Pyle has willed his run-about to lNfIrs. Barlow. A tighter squeeze has never been seen.
