THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT We, the Senior Class of Kempsville High School, in the year of nineteen hun- dred and forty-nine 1194-9j, being of sound mind and body, do hereby designate this as our Last Will and Testament. To Kempsville High School we bequeath home room and Mrs. Barnes-both total wrecks as a result of the class of '49. Someday shc may calm down. Dewey Davis relinquishes his love for school work and his ability to get by with the least effort. Studious Jean Moore gladly takes posession of them. Robert fwhizj Parron and Robert Qlightningj Yon leave their speedy wit to Joe Vestal.. Betty Gardner and Norma Jean Scott will their Joke Books to Kay I-Iessel. Speaking of books, Hazel Meixel and Charlotte Bowden pass on their crammed date books to homey little Shirley Kirby. Richard Lane leaves his husky, muscular legs to Aubin Reams. Jean Moore bequeaths to Naomi Scarbough her numerous male acquaint- ances in hopes.-fPeriodj Bud Everett just leaves again this year and hopes this will be his last exit. Edward Flanders and Donald Davis leave the address of their favorite beauty salon to Joan Ero. Bobby Hendricks, Edward DeFord and Wayne Boggs leave their quiet gentleman like ways to Ted Shreve. He may need them. Richard Conant leaves his teeth to Babs Brice so that she will have an extra set ready after each baton twirling. Eddie Webb, Benny Haste, and J. P. Davenport leave their Football ability to Curly Young. Someday we hope he will be able to make the Varsity. Melvin Nuckols bequeaths his complete car to Ernie Grey and also an extra set of windows. Clara Kennedy bequeaths her sophistication to Annette Bracy, praying that someday sheill change for the better. Buddy Duplain leaves his crutches and insurance policies to Buddy Brie in hopes that he can accomplish more than a black eye. Lawton Box wills his elevated shoes to Forrest Newhall.
