The second class To graduaTe from The 6-3-3 sysTem, we have Tried To make The mosT of our Three shorl years in senior high, As energeTic sophomores, we hasTened To adiusT To The hallowed halls of Keene High and To Take an acTive parT in sporTs and oTher school acTiviTies. AT The compleTion of our iunior year, we had Taken greaT sTrides Toward The goal of graduaTion. We had given a splendid Junior-Senior prom, AlmosT Paradise. Two of our girls received ouTsTanding honors aT Girls' STaTe. Sharon Price was elecTed gov- ernor, and Nancy Crowell was chosen asa delegaTe To Girls' NaTion. Now graduaTion is aT hand. We have maTured a greaT deal since we were under- classmen. To lead us, we chose The following officers: Michael O'Neil, presidenT, Jos- lin Kimball, vice presidenT, CharloTTe Colony, secreTary, and Mary Kinney, Treasurer. As seniors, we showed abiliTy on The school liTerary publicaTions, in The DramaTic Club, and in The A Cappella Choir. We have also developed leaders in sporTs and oTher sTudenT acTiviTies. AT our beauTiTul Midyear Ball, WinTergreen, Joslin Kimball was crowned as Miss Keene High School. The members oT her courT were Julia Canfield, Nancy Crowell, Sharon Price, and Jean Thompson. As we graduaTe, we, The Class of '58, begin To realize The meaning of The words, WhaT sculpTure is To a block of marble, educaTion is To a human soul.
