s 1 :aswmi , . 1 , Ours is an age of discovery, of invention. Out of a glorious heritage of the Past has come an even more glorious Present, dynamic with' teeming energy and glowing vitality, gazing ever hopefully into the unknown Future bright with the promise of achievement. Thus, we the youth of today and the adults of Tomorrow, exultantly reach out our hands to grasp the key to the Future. We were born beneath the dark cloud of a grim warg yet, behind the cloud, shone a star, an omen of the greatness that lies within our reach. The class of 1957 is the first class to graduate under the six-three-three- system. It is significant to us that during our brief span of life have come many inspiring '6firsts in all pathways of the arts and sciences. So then-Lights! Action! Camera-focused on the students of JCM Editor-in-Chief Assistant Editor our school . . .

S I I I 5 H. lt is with deep and sincere appreciation that we, the class of 1957, dedi- cate our yearbook to a teacher, adviser, and friend, who has spent many extra hours helping our class and our school. The pride he has taken in his work has resulted in many excellent school organizations. Through his out- standing work the name of Keene High School has been heard throughout the Eastern United States by people in all walks of life. It is with much pleasure, then, that we dedicate the 1957 SALMAGUNDI to you, Mr. Robert M. Cook.
