Hello Week Launches Year This year's Hello Week was held August 30th through Sep- tember 2nd. Tuesday, the 30th, was picture day. During lunch, students could get their picture taken through a cardboard cut out as a cougar. Wednesday was scheduled as club rush day. Thursday, Song Day, everyone had fun singing the school song. Our student body officers went around the school asking students to sing the school song. If they sang it right, they won a prize. On Friday, the an- nual Hello Assembly featured the Cheerleaders, Dance Club, Chattes, and Spirit Club. That night, the week ended with a game against Cyprus. Its pretty scary up here. ,4 ,,,, ,, , 86 Hello Week . . , strive mighty cougars . . .

The band and various clubs either marched or rode on floats. The next day, teachers cooked breakfast for those who were brave enough to eat it. On the 21st, the K.H.S. Olympics were held. The fol- lowing day there was a cougar carnival in which many clubs -,.. -. all participated. The Hit attraction was a dunking machine which left some of the faculty mem- bers all wet. The big Homecom- ing Day was held on Friday, September 23rd. Alumni and seniors mingled at a reception where they renewed old Ac- quaintances and reminisced. Afterwards, the alumni enter- tained us at the Homecoming Assembly. Of course, the high- light of the program was the crowning of the Homecoming Queen, Barbara Anderson, and her attendants.
