Key Club is a proud organization. 1' C Key Club Helps Gthers Key Club, which is a student affiliated of the Kiwanis Club, is a service-oriented organiza- tion. During the school year, Key Club sponsors various ac- tivities, one of the most suc- cessful being the blood drive. This project enables students to donate their blood to local hos- pitals. Another of their activi- ties this year Was the Easter project in which Key Club members helped the elderly in the Golden Living Center with Easter decorations and festivi- ties. Play Depicts Prison Camp The school play, INeVer Saw a Butterfly, was held March 8th, 9th, and lOth. The story took place in Terezin, and Nazi concentration camp, during World War II. Raja, a survivor, told the story of the Jewish children of Terezin, most of whom were destined for the gas chambers at Auschwitz. Members of the cast included Korrie Hess, Katie Stosich, Ju- lia Cavaness, Steve Garrett, Jackie Shepherd, Melanie New- ell, Wendy Sherrick, Ed Steb- bings, Stephanie Stevenson, Tina Halpin, Lona Furgason, and Mark Reynold. Mrs. Brough, the director, commended the cast members for their cooperation and hard work. Raja QKatie Stosichj and Honza CJon Lornecb become friends Irena comforts Raja. Ushers Help At Assemblies The Ushers' Club is com- posed of athletes who help maintain order and respect dur- ing assemblies. A polite word from them can be more effec- tive than a reprimand from a faculty member. The advisors for this year's Ushers' Club were coaches Kenyon Clark and Dale Robertson. The student body would like to thank the Ushers' Club for helping make our assemblies more orderly and enjoyable.
