Newsbreak 3 ls Twice As Good Because of the new block scheduling, there were two differ- ent news teams this year: lst peri- od and 2nd period, each battling to outdo the other. Each class con- sisted of ten to twelve students working in various positions such as director, floor man, camera man, audio, weather, and graph- ics. There were more programs from remote locations this year than ever before. The news crews, who called themselves the Z Bros., conduct- ed the Gold and Green Sweep- stakes. During this activity, they gave away such prizes as movie tickets, hats, and food to those who entered a drawing and held the winning numbers. Congratulations to both news teams for a job well done. In state-Wide events Where 30 to 40 schools are repre- sented, this is some feat. The Debate Team does more than debating. They also partici- pate in Model UN and Mock Trial.
