C0riI1DG Burl' Roxanne Burrola Teresa Cook Jennie Crapo Little Things Add To Spirit The Spirit Club did many small, subtle things to boost en- thusiasm and strengthen school unity. They Practiced every eighth period to perfect their cheers and dances which they performed at assemblies and at half-times. One of their on-go- ing projects was decorating the lockers of the Football and Bas- ketball Teams. They also pre- sented the flag before each game and cheered in unison. The faculty advisor for the Spirit Club was Mrs. Renee Hyer. Mr. Stark watches a soloist perform. Madrigals Are In Demand The Madrigals are the most elite singing group at Kearns. Throughout the school year, they are in great demand for community as well as school functions. ' They performed at Home- coming, the Hello Assembly, dances, Weddings receptions, building dedications, and busi- ness luncheons. During the Christmas season, KSL Radio recorded the Madrigals and played their music on the radio. The members of the Madri- gals must have fortitude and stamina. In order to join the group, they must first pass competitive tryouts. And when they travel to perform far from home, or even out of state, they must pay their own expenses. Ibis...
