Mr. Stark watches a soloist perform. Madrigals Are In Demand The Madrigals are the most elite singing group at Kearns. Throughout the school year, they are in great demand for community as well as school functions. ' They performed at Home- coming, the Hello Assembly, dances, Weddings receptions, building dedications, and busi- ness luncheons. During the Christmas season, KSL Radio recorded the Madrigals and played their music on the radio. The members of the Madri- gals must have fortitude and stamina. In order to join the group, they must first pass competitive tryouts. And when they travel to perform far from home, or even out of state, they must pay their own expenses. Ibis... Madrigals tune up their voices. 5, ,- ' 1 i ' - Madrigals 145
