Q- Z Push 'em back! Looking good, Michelle. J.V. Cheerleaders Take Top Trophy During the summer, the new- ly elected J.V. Cheerleaders at- tended a U.S.A. Cheerleading Camp at Utah State University where they learned cheers and drills. At the camp, they also competed against squads from all over the western United States. The end of the competi- tion left the J.V. squad with a superior trophy, the highest honor given, and a spirit stick. This year, the J.V. Cheer- leaders have fewer members and higher standardsg never- theless, Mrs. Linda Pearson, their advisor, said that they are better than any others she has worked with. Michelle Drabner was the head J.V. Cheerleader. We congratulate the J.V.'s on their hard work and fine achievements. They added col- or and excitement to our athle- tic program. i Give us a

First, they attend Workshops Where they learn the basic cheers which they Will use to try out.
