In addition to girl's ten- nis, boy's tennis is also new to the KHS extracurricular activities. It was coached this year by Chuck Al- bin and Kevin Bufton. Although it is the first year, the team has come a long way, added VanDyne. All of the boys have previously played tennis. But for most, this is their first competition. Individually, some of them have done very well, but lack of experience and nerves have shown a poor team record, said senior Doyle R-iley. Winning a match is exuberat- ing! exclaimed Corey Hoth, senior. But it can be frustrating because you have to control your emotions in the game and concentrate on your physical abilities. Although the team has had a tough season, the opportunity to compete has prepared them well for next year. There has been vast improvement in skills and strategy , declared coach Kevin Bufton.
