The only noticeable difference is that the JV 8 Varsity winter sporting events will start at 6.00 instead of 6:30. The fall sports, such as football, will stay the same time as now, Next year Kearney will be changing athletic conferenc 7.30. The main reasons for the change in conferences are so that we may compete against schools of equal size and also to reduce the total miles to the contest. Our old conference, lVlRVC QMissouri River Valley Conferencej, consisted of Kearney, Carroll- to Richmond, Lexington, Boonville, Oak Grove, Odessa, and Higginsville. n, Besides Kearney, our new conference, WC QWest Conferencej will consist of O'Hara, Harrison-. ville, Warrensburg, and Raymore-Peculiar. . ...Msgs-fwrsf fredii Mit I l This year, KHS added the sport of tennis to its curriculum. lt was available to girls in the fall and boys in the spring. Our meets were played at the KHS tennis courts at the Annex.
