The Concert Choir entered their 1978-79 season with fifty enthusiastic members and began their many activities by selling Nasco Christmas candles. This project raised S950 in six days and purchased an electric piano and stereo for the music department. Competitive goals for the choir during the year were to attend the fall clinic held in November and the annual spring music contest in March. During the year the Concert Choir presented three concerts, a fall concert, a Christmas concert, and a spring concert. They also participated in all of the special assemblies. Other activities included during the year were a concert at Metro North Shopping Center, a performance at the Middle School, and Parents' Night before district competition at William Jewell College in March. L The choir and their director Mrs. Russell enjoyed the busy season and hope to have an even better year next year.
