lie-sides the scheduled lrall Christinas break, the winter months brought .Ill unexpected xacation. Most vacations are taken in a pleasant, relaxed at- inospliere. but this excursion had bad weather o11 all sides. The statewide ,Xl-. l. Strike dropped precipitation not only on students, but on the heads ol non'participating p1'ol'esso1'sas well. Vkhile many lseanites tound the strike a pleasant excuse for missing classes. seniors sat neurotic ox er the possible loss oferedits towards gradua- tion. Likewise. professors who chose to stay otil' the picket line and teach sutlered seah status under the A.l .T. canopy. lfortunately. the strike was resolved with a minimum amount ot' damage to all parties. Students will pay more for an education in '76 and sit on the sidelines again in liuture negotiations. Unloyal profs to the A.F.T. cause lost a lew promotions and the Administration dropped some sweat trying to hold it all together. When the liinal season's statistics were tabulated in lrenton. there was no conference champ nor second place squad. only a tew disgruntled teams looking towards the next academic season.
