Qf Experienced ln the fall, the freshmen, beaming with high hopes, embarked on an entirely new experience. They quickly adjusted to high school life and proved themselves a worthy class. The upper- classmen enthusiastically welcomed them to the cosmopolitan life at Kauai High School. Activities which required much planning were the freshmen picnic, luncheon, newspaper, and most exciting and thrilling, the freshmen dance. All these experiences prepared them for what they were to enjoy in the years ahead. Most inspiring was cheering for our football, basketball, baseball, and track teams. They showed their loyalty and allegiance to the Ka- uai High School spirit by shouting and by sing- ing our Alma Mater harmoniously and respect fu y Freshmen year was not the hard and suffering year the freshmen class had expected It was a year of fun as well as study THAT WASN T TOO BAD!
