With the onset of the football season, Pep Club members boosted the team by waving streamers and selling banners, To add more spirit to our pep rallies, a School Spirit Contest was held in which the seniors won the perpetual trophy for the year. Comedy filled skits were held at pep assemblies and in addition novelty Raider pins were sold to inspire students to back their team. When basketballs took the initial bounce on the court, the club held a color day when all students were requested to wear red and white. As bats made contact and ciriders flew, many original and enjoyable activities swept the camp- us. These events contributed to a really hep pep club this year. Students practiced untiringly during lunch periods toward top placements as song and cheer leaders for the coming school year.
