.Sin gaftf Juniors found their third year at Kauai High School fun, but also o routine of study and tests. Mr. Boles' Junior English classes saw deep concentration on Public Speaking, American Literature and grammar. Assignments became difficult as the year progressed. Research papers were due after the Christmas holidays and themes had to be written. Weeks of delicate operation and wondrous ideas produced many Aerated projects in Mr. Fountain's social studies classes. News reels were viewed by students on happenings around the globe. SINK OR SWIM This quarter shows improvement for Elizabeth Agao and Eleanor Araneto, according to Mrs. Kim's red book. LOOKING FOR REFERENCE Working on research papers kept Kenneth Kadarna. Norma Palaeay, Jesse Nii, Josephine Naeua, and Pris- cilla Taba busy reading encyclopedias and taking notes in the library. MR. Other fine athletes were also represented in basket- ball, baseball and track.
