The industrious sophomores returned to their second year of high school and found that teachers expected more out of them than the year before. Subiects such as geometry and bi- ology were difficult to some students, while others found typing hard to master. Many squeals of nervousness and fright issued from the biology class as students dissected frogs to learn their different functions and systems. :sei s Colonel Frank Adams, retired army officer, N volunteered his time, as in previous years, to teach first aid to the sophomore girls.
