Laughter and cheer filled the air, as freshman boys and girls went through their initial field ex- perience of setting up o serious game of baseball in their new red and white uniforms. Surprised, at first, by the length of a physical education class period they enjoyed every bit of it. At the end of each period squeals of shy protests were heard from the shower rooms as the students took their first cold shower in the presence of so many people. Mrs. Ching, instructor of the girls' physical education class, also had interesting discussions on health improvements. Mr. Ono, the able tutor of the boys' physical education class, reviewed the right and the wrong ways ot playing various sports in which the boys participated during the year.
