Mathematics and science play an important role in life today. They are essential in order to help build a new frontier for peace in this ever-changing world. Kauai High School's math curriculum in- cludes remedial and general math, geometry, and trigonometry, ln order to achieve a com- plete high school education, a year of math is required for every student. Academic subjects such as biology, chem- istry, physics, and radio are offered in the science program, Kauai High School's amateur radio station, KH6lK, is the only station in the territory operated by a high school.
