In the talent contest, Diane Messing ' s rendition of I Can ' t Say No moved her on to win the title. Diane Messing named Miss K-State-Manhattan Selected from 12 finalists after talent, evening gown and swimsuit competition, Diane Messing was named Miss K-State-Manhattan for 1967. Each living group nominated contestants and the finalists were chosen after preliminary judging. Miss Messing was also awarded the Miss Congen- iality award at the Kansas pageant. Mary Lou Grosko and Dennis Culley were crowned queen and king of the 1967 Greek Week games. Each sorority and fraternity nominated a contestant, who was judged on her or his appear- ance in a Greek toga. Crowned during Spring Fling activities, Sherry Spillman and George Shupe were named Wildkitten and Wildcat. Receiving congratulations from the 11 other final- ists, Diane Messing of Delta Delta Delta sits back- stage after her crowning. Later at the state pageant she was awarded the title of Miss Congeniality.

X Chosen Greek Week royalty. Mary Lou Grosko, a Chi Omega, and Dennis Culley of Delta Upsilon were crowned at the Greek games Friday afternoon. Other activities included a service project and house dances. Named Miss K-State-Manhattan. Diane Messing is crowned by Judy Hysom, who held the 1966 title. Climaxing Spring Fling Week. George Shupe and Sher- ry Spillman are announced Wildcat and Wildkitten. 27
