William Marion Jakdin President of the College IT is to be doubted if any institution of higher learning in this country is more fortunate in the matter of presidents than the Kansas State Agricultural College. Under the guidance of President Jardine this institution has ex- panded rapidly, its prestige has spread and its standarrls have risen. He has made K. S. A. C. one of the foremost schools of its kind in the United States; he has displayed a profound faith in and regard for the younger generation; he has worked for them and with them, and in so doing he has performed a task of inestimable value to his state and to his nation. Doctor Jardine ' s sound thinking and vigorous idealism have made him an outstanding figure in affairs of national scope. The Kansas State Agricultural College can rejoice that it has as its president Dr. W. M. Jardine, a loyal Aggie and an inspiring leader.
