FOREWORD 1979 CARDINAL MEMORIES: Through its various scenes tells the story of Kaibeto Boarding School, which is located in the Northern part of Arizona. The school has an enrollment of over 500 students. Through the different scenes we see the life on campus as it is lived by students from Kaibeto and the surrounding communities: Red Lake, Coppermine, Cowsprings, Bittersprings, Le Chee, Page, Cedar Ridge, Navajo Canyon, Marble Canyon and Gap. They all have come to find knowledge, gain friends, get aims and gather hope for a successful future. She was Second Runner-Up to the Western Navajo Agency Pow-Wow Princess this year. FIRST RUNNER - UP MARIE WILLIAMS: Marie is in the Seventh Grade and is 13 years old.
