. , Q , Eff J : At the end of the football season the OIA East tabulated all the standings of each player and from there we got our All-Stars . Kahuku was honored with a few of these players . The East All-Star players are offense: Robert Anae, center, defense: Siotame Uluave, linebacker, Dwayne Fely and Nelson IVIoaalii, tackle. Honorable mentions went to offensive backs Sam Gago and Tevita lVlounga, and linemen Garth Spurrier and llllalglyp Huger, de- fensive linebacker JamesMAko . The second team consisted of defense lVIark Coburn, Sefo lVIokofisi, linemen and Kenneth Kahaulelio, back. Kahuku had one of the top defensive teams in the East. Throughout the season, the coaches kept a watchful eye for outstanding players . After each game an award was presented to the players, who gave an outstanding preformance . Continous practice, en- durance and achievement were the goals for the Mighty Red Raiders. As their head coach lVlr. IVIeade showed great determination along with the help of the assistant coaches Ishmael Stagner, Famika Anae, Babe Auelua Kalili Hunt, and Tom Heffernan, they kept the team ready for action and full with spirit. Even though the Red Raiders did not win the championship title, there is always room to pick up where they left off. lVIost important in this sport is good sportsmanship and team wor .
