Among the more important daily routines none was taken for granted so much as the meals. Under the excellent direction of Wes Hall, the experienced and competent cooks were untiring in their constant care and preparation of wholesome food for the student body. This year our dining staff answered cries of hun- ger with heaping platters of nutritious foods. Keeping us happy and our mouths full were what they set out to do. They helped out by setting the tables and answering the needs of the students. We could never have gotten along without the dedication of these valuable staff members.

Infirmary guards health if? Laura Lewis, Betty Daly, Jane Polling, Anne Krog tHead Nursel, Myrtle Olson and Loretta Scarp. Bookstore meets needs Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week and eight months of the year, our nurses worked for better health and inspiration among the students here at Judson. One of the nurses said that the infirmary tried its hardest to cure anything from homesickness to heartache and from head colds to sore toes. The head nurse did a good job of keeping a sense of organization in the infirmary throughout the year. The registered nurses, who were busy both night and day, were restoring health and preventing health hazards for a better environment here on campus. Distributing books was just one of the many ever- present tasks that Mrs. Lib Schaare and Mrs. Grace Hovland have done this year. Besides supplying us with e such necessities as shampoo, stationery, toothpaste and , .Qi at T-shirts, these ladies have saved lives by having a r n , ,g ready supply of pens, pencils and paper. 2 Q They were cheerful, smiling and calm, cool and col- i lected even if you couldn't make up your mind as to what i' ' 'I ,gg you wanted. Housekeeping f -'ww 'ee use T ZJQ Cx? r Mrs. Anna Mac Woodring, Mrs. Judy Ritzcr, Mrs. Dora Dominquez, Mrs. Gloria Gilliam. Did you ever notice how clean the dorms, classrooms and offices have been kept this year? All credit goes to our housekeepers. If not for these fine ladies, Judson would have fallen into the clutches of the desert. In addition to their cleaning duties, the house- keepers took care of the linens and made curtains. Thanks to these ladies Judson was kept in tip-top shape throughout the year. Many thanks to maintenance men for the unbelievable amount of work done through- out the year. If not for these fine men the outside surround- ings of our school could have been turned into a total disas- ter. Everyday ofthe school year, if there was any type of maintenance problem, we could always count on these men to come in and solve it for us. In addition to main- taining buildings and rooms, these men were also responsi- ble for keeping the schools automobiles running smoothly. Maintenance .xiii WW fm C59 Willard Taylor, J. T.
