Their activities in- cluded participation in many horse shows and banquets organized by the officers for the members, It was a familiar sight to see members of the IETS selling pretzels at juice break to raise extra funds for special Club activities. Parade in the un FOUNTAIN ' Preparations for the event were exciting as riders braided colored ribbons and put school color bows on their horses. The lucky animals were gently bathed and bnwhed and cared for with much T.L.C. Final arrangements, begun at 4:30 a.m., in- cluded polishing tack and riding gear. Thousands of spectators enjoyed the big event. ' FOUN TA-IN One of the few groups to display a different style was the English riding team. 89
