They compete in horse shows in Scottsdale and the annual Iudson-Orme ro- deo. Over the years, a complete stock of calves and steers has been maintained for ropin . . , . g and team tying. Most of the 17 boys on the team ride their own horses, but there are excellent horses 'l bl th ' avai a e at e school corral for those who do not. Preston Brady presides over the practices which are in preparation for the end of the ear , Y ROPE-OFF, but leaders have been elected also: President, Tom Neileyg Vice President, Fred Slyfieldg Secretary-treasurer, Stew Cellers. The Judson Roping Team is highly competitive, and is recognized with high standing on the Arizona Rodeo Circuit. Fred Slyfield is ready to throw the loop around the calf.
