X, J .-.. M ,J Valedictorian ichaow akphongphairdj Vichaow placed first in his class achieving a 4.0 grade average throughout his four high school years. Vichaow was born in Bangkok, Thailand july 7, 1957. When he was five, he went to school in Hong Kong until 1974. Then he Went back to Bangkok to finish high school. This year Vichaow came to judson for a year of English schooling. Vichaow is Parliamentarian of the Adventist School Student As- sociation and was elected to National Honor Society in his senior ear. Y He plans to go to college and major in Electrical Engineering. Salutatorian Dorie Vlatten Dorie was born February 23, 1959, in Newark, New jersey, and is now living in Chandler, Arizona. Dorie has attended Judson for two years. She was selected to the National Honor Society in her junior year and received the U of A Outstanding junior Award. Dorie was secretary of the Student Council her junior year and president of Student Council her senior year. Dorie plans to attend the University of Arizona and major in Animal Health Science. 57

George Aldrich Award Khaldoun Iallad was born May 12, 1954 in Tulkarm, jordan, but he has lived in Saudi Arabia most of his life. Khal has received awards for the Best Defensive Back in football, Most Improved Soccer Player, and Was very involved in basketball and baseball. Khaldoun generated enthusiasm and excitement with every sport he participated in. He is well liked and enjoys people. Khal was selected for the National Honor Society in his senior year. George Aldrich was an outstanding athlete and was respected and, loved by all. He would have been a senior in the year 1963- 64, but he passed away on his familyis ranch the summer of 1963. This award is presented to the outstanding senior boy and is do- nated by the Aldrich family in memory of their son. Robert Stevenson was awarded the Arizona State University Medallion of Merit Award. Robert will receive a full year scholar- ship to ASU. He was nominated to Quill and Scroll, National Honor Society and is an outstanding member of Cougar newspa- per staff. Robert is interested in drama, writing and motor-cy- cling. Arthur Rowland received the University of Arizona Out- standing Iunior Award for excellence in scholastics and citizen- ship. Art will receive a full year scholarship to the U. of A. He was elected to National Honor Society and his main interests are in basketball and mathematics. Art would like to go to college and major in engineering or mathematics.
