International Club William Utterback, Germany, Pat Thumann, Texas, Charlie Beyer, New York, Nassar Akabarinegad, Iran. -Iudson's Intemational Club was formed during the school year to allow students to get the flavor of foreign countries, and to leam about different cultures. The club was a unique way for stu- dents to take advantage of the various different ways of life the foreign students have experienced. The program was organized by Larry Sullivan, Mrs. Doris Bale and Miss Peggy Dodge. Speakers were invited to Iuclson to meet with members, and there were nu- merous culture displays at A.S.U. The club consisted of members from Iran, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Peru, japan, Libya and different states in America. There were roughly twenty members, who de- cided on an informal organization without dues, but did agree on fund raising operations to help cover the cost of special outings. The many foreign students this yearwere a link in the chain of life at Judson. There was a mutual benefit between the students, as the foreigners learned from us as we learned from them. Thanks to the foreign students, who' made life at Judson even more inter- esting. 114
