Be True to Yourself Everyone is loved by someone, and everyone is, or should be, respected by many. But you are only loved for being what you are best, yourself. Ifyou are trying to please someone by acting like them, or acting unnaturally, then that person is worthless. N matter who you are trying to please if they can t accept you as you are naturally then that per son isnt worth your trouble of changing yourself You should have enough pride in yourself without being a snob to be hurt for not being like or respected as you are. What are you worth if you have to change yourself to be liked by a disrespectful person? Not much. Sure, if you have bad habits that people around you disagree with, then break yourself of them for politness sake But no one s per sonality can be so bad as to need a change just so you w1ll be liked Even if someone disrespects you then they arent worth your trouble Are they? Why cant people just b IN MEMORIAM OF DADDY ARNDT who passed away October 14 1975 themselves, as God intended them to be? ? ? And aren't you worth more to yourself to even care ifsomeone is so low as to not even respect you for being yourself? And having pride in yourself is said in the sense of self con- fidence not as a signal to go on an ego trip This is a personal opinion and a personal phllosophy Take it or leave it as you please but please respect it as it is for it IS I and I respect you as you are only you.
