BOY SCOUTS An active organization at Judson for many years, the Boy Scouts has continued its fine record of accomplishment throughout the school term. Holding many overnight camping trips, and cookouts, besides participating in District meetings and innumerable other activities, the Boy Scouts have had an eventful and exciting year. Under the guidance of Mr. Bradford, the troop has had an outstanding course in first aid, as well as the traditional ones in good camping and sportsmanship. With the increase in enrollment anticipated for next year, the Boy Scouts can look forward to an even bigger troop nextfall. Left to right Chip Rodarmor Dick Kolmar Jerry Barth Harvey Smith Dennis Clark THE .IUDSON STCMPERS While the Judson band consists only of drums, piano, and string bass, each of the three mem- bers, Chip Rodarmor, Jerry Barth, and Harvey Smith, have proven their versatility in playing several instruments. Chip doing an excellent iob on the piano, also fares well on the drums. Harvey Smith, aside from the string bass, has included in his repertoire of instruments, the guitar and the uklele. Jerry Barth, perhaps the most talented of the three, not only excels on the drums at school but belongs to the Musician's Union and does outside jobs as well. He also adds Latin American flavor to the group with the maracas and the sticks. The Judson trio has performed at many of the school functions ranging from the first dance to graduation. -102-
